Rejoice! An intergenerational devotional guide for September to November is available on the literature rack in the foyer.
Summer worship services will begin at 10:00 a.m. until September 12.
The Summer Service Fund (SSF) needs additional money to meet this year's requests. Please make cheques payable to Ottawa Mennonite Church, designated for the SSF.
Refugee Assistance Program (RAP)
- Needed: Financial Support for a Colombian Mennonite family of 6, who will be coming within months. The father is in danger because of his peace and justice work. We need $30,000 for the 12-month sponsorship. We are responsible for all of their financial and support needs. Please make out a pledge and give it to Kathy N., the treasurer, or John D. Thank you for your support of the RAP committee.
Small Groups. Small groups are a good way to get to know people outside of Sunday morning. Examples are: Quilting group, Bible Study, Reading group. If anyone has an idea for a small group and/or would like to lead a group this fall, please contact Dale W. or Monty W.
Bulletin Announcements. Please call announcements to the church office, record them on the answering machine, or e-mail them to Grace by Thursday, 5:00 pm.
